Mike Manocchio [
EVP, Promotions]

Michael Manocchio, is the former Vice President of Promotion, Atlantic Records. Mike began his career in the music business in the early 1970’s as a developing record label Promotions Manager.  In, 1972, Mike continued with United Artist Distributors thru 1974, and then in late 1974, he became head of Label Relations with Neil Bogart at Buddha Records thru 1977.  He then accepted a position with Capitol Records as Midwest Regional Director and Special Project Director.  In late of 1978, Mike received a career boost from Atlantic Records. Mike became their Midwest Regional Promotion Director, (region = 22 states) and promotional responsibilities of Chicago and Cleveland. 

After only 7 months, he was promoted to National Promotion Director.  In 1979, Michael was awarded with the Best National Promotion Director of the Year Award. Shortly thereafter, he was again promoted,  he was honored to become Vice President of Promotion for Atlantic Records. While Vice President of Promotion Mike was a member of the A&R Committee. Michael left Atlantic Records in 1986 and then began promoting record labels independently. As President of an independent music company, Mike enjoyed all the challenges of being independent. Mike’s experience also added to the development of Foreigner and Night Ranger. Throughout Michael's illustrious 30-year career he has maintained a level of professionalism and integrity that is seldom seen in our industry today. Michael is currently the President of Roll with it Marketing, llc which offers digital, print and radio marketing services to its clients. 

 

Kevin Black [EVP, Development]

Kevin is a 20+ year internationally-recognized urban music executive. Kevin started his career as a roadie for Run DMC and a street marketing representative for Def Jam where he helped break LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Public Enemy and many more.

Kevin then went on to earn senior management and executive positions with Interscope Records where he became Senior Vice President responsible for breaking Eminem, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Snoop, Keisha Cole, Robin Thicke, Lady GaGa, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, No Doubt, Limp Bizkit, Will Smith and many, many more. Then at Warner Brothers Kevin became Head of Urban Music reporting directly to the Chairman. While at Warner he lead marketing efforts for Eric Benet, Brian McKnight, Madonna, Mike Jones, Linkin Park and signed Wiz Khalifa.
